This light is absolutely stunning. It looks extremely high quality. This is the most money I have spent on lighting to date and its totally worth it. We purchased the 24 light for our entry. It is hung with the 20 chain. For perspective, we replaced a 20 year old pile rubbed bronze fixture that was 18 in diameter. I had concerns the new light may over power the space but the scale worked out beautifully in the end. The only concern was the instructions. Gorgeous!! My husband rented a scaffold to install it since our ceiling is 20 ft tall in our entry. He then lowered it, and we sat on scaffolding to install the crystals. Definitely a little more challenging installing this so high but worth it. It comes with a set of small crystals and a set of large crystals and you alternate them when installing on the rings of the chandelier. It took the both of us 1 12 hrs to put the crystals on. We wanted a large, modern, all-crystal chandelier for our bathroom and had difficulty finding anything this size without spending several thousand dollars. The crystals on this light are gorgeous, and it makes a beautiful statement. We initially hired an electrician and a helper to install it on our 15-foot barrel ceiling. Despite the height and the large number of crystals, they had no trouble assembling or hanging it, and the entire installation took about 2½ hours. The problem was the gold finish. Once it was hanging, my husband and I both thought the gold looked very cheap and really took away from an otherwise beautiful chandelier. Unfortunately, our electrician had already thrown away the box, so returning it wasn’t an option. We ended up removing every crystal, taking the chandelier back down, and painting the fixture with a champagne-bronze metallic paint. We then rehung it and replaced all the crystals ourselves. What a difference! The new finish completely elevated the chandelier. It now looks elegant, expensive, and comparable to fixtures in our home that cost several thousand dollars. We absolutely love it. My recommendation: If you love the design but want a more high-end look, paint the gold finish before installing it—and definitely before hanging all those crystals!
