Step up to designer styles and superior security with Kwikset Signature Series products. The 980 Deadbolt series is both tough and attractive. This single-cylinder deadbolt is operated by a key on the outside or a thumb turn on the inside.

I just replaced my previously purchased Kwikset lock due to internal failure of the Cylinder lock. The cast area of cylinder retention (Snap ring Groove) in the Chassis failed and the Cylinder lock fell out when the key was removed. No external damage to the cylinder lock or Chassis was noted. The lock lasted 8 years installed with daily use. I believe this was a one-off manufacturing material failure so I replaced it with the same model. The removal & installation very easy as was use of the key Kwikset system. The lock provided smooth operation up to the point of failure.. Edn22. Davie, Fl.. Mon Jul 06 2026

A clean, streamlined design on the Kingston fits a wide range of decorating styles from traditional and ranch to contemporary. Both levers can be operated by a key on the outside or push button on the inside.

Great inexpensive handles, practical, and ADA-compliant. I bought 6 handles for our school’s new location (that was under construction). These 6 handles from Wayfair (3 with locks, 3 without locks) were cheaper than the price of 3 of similar style handles that I bought from Ace Hardware. Our initial inspection failed, because our contractor had installed other handles with twist-button locks, so I replaced them with these handles with push-button locks - for half the price! FYI - if you’re installing in a commercialbusiness setting, locks must be push-button (not twist-button locks).. Jen. West Melbourne, FL. Fri Feb 05 2021

As 80+ year old seniors our ability to turn knobs was becoming more difficult so we purchased 2 lever passage and dead bolt locks for the door and security door we use the most often. These proved so great we purchased 4 more of them for the other 2 doors and security doors. They are very secure locks, and were easy to replace our 20 year old Kwikset locks.. Olad Timer.
