Beautiful lamp, nice black metal, much bigger in person than on photos, however the base is super small. I Had to replace with a different base as I couldn’t get it installed it otherwise. The light from it does disperse (vs hit the island directly on the bottom) so when you’re sitting down the light can be directly at eye level. These lights look great at our bar counter! While installation is straightforward, it does take some forethought and measuring to ensure that they hang at the same length. But there is a set screw on the fixture to allow for slight adjustments after hanging. The gold is striking without being gaudy. And they provide ample light for the workseating area below.. Laura.
