I've had this island for a few years now and constantly get compliments on it. It looks way more expensive than expected, especially for the price. The delivery was fast and all the pieces for assembly were in good condition. The top wood surface has been used daily and has held up nicely as well as the doors to the cabinets below. Pros: Durable, beautiful color, perfect size for our kitchen, and plenty of storage, both hidden and open. We get lots of compliments on how well this matches our kitchen. Cons: I remember this taking a lot of time to put together, probably 3-4 hours. Probably more like 4.5 stars. First off - this thing is heavy. It's wonderful that it is all put together, but you will need assistance with moving it. Having access from both sides of the island is huge for our kitchen that doesn't have much storage. We use the narrow side for spices, etc. My *only* issue is that the white quartz counter top is very easily marked. Overall this is a very nice cabinet and with some patients reasonably easy to assemble if you're handy at these kind of things. I will definitely say there are a lot of parts so take your time. The instructions were pretty good although there are a couple of places where a few more detailed diagrams would have boosted my confidence. Overall quality was good and the final product has good fit and finish presentation. One downside of these is the manufactured wood isn't great. I get just a bit of "bumpiness" with the drawers which I attribute to the preinstalled screws not countersinking in quite enough. I attempted to tighten some more but the threads just won't grip enough in the manufactured wood. But this isn't a big deal and something you deal with on <$500 cabinets that aren't at least pine; so you have choices. I love the color and the functionality! Just what I needed for a small kitchen with just 1 drawer. I think I have unrealistic expectations of products shipped and put together at home. The door had scraping marks in more that 1 spot and one of the drawers had a damaged knob. With those exceptions it is a really good value for the money. If you can pay to have it assembled. Amazing product. Very good quality and really worked for me and the purpose I wanted it. The only thing is that I decided to not add the sides pieces since I didn’t need it and wanted this to be in the middle of the kitchen. Overall pretty simple to put together…. Took me about 1.5 hours, but I put the towel bar and wheels on after the legs since my kitchen is tight on space and wasn’t sure they would work. Smaller hands make assembly a bit easier since some of the connections are in not easily assessable areas. The long and medium bolts are the same length! The Allyn wrench provided is too long, so used a smaller one I had that worked better for me.
