Love the look! Really classes up the doorway. Was able to trim it shorter and make it narrower. Was just pleased I didn’t crack the door when shortening it. Be sure to tape both sides of your cut line and both sides of the door. I just used painters tape. Use at least a 140 teeth circular saw blade and flip it so the teeth are backwards. Have a table or a person hold the end that is being cut off. Mine chipped a tiny bit on the backside, so be sure cut on the side you will see the most often. Aesthetically the bifold door is absolutely beautiful. Its heavy and well made. However, I do not like the placement of the knob as it is somewhat difficult to open without putting your hand towards the top bend of the door to help open it. My carpenter husband was definitely skeptical and was anticipating a flimsy product and a problematic install. He was wrong. This frame came extremely well packaged and is a well built, solid frame.
