I'm renovating an existing gameroom and bought this to replace an older Arachnid Cricket Pro. At the time of writing, I'm guessing this board is so new that there isn't a lot of info on it. Took a chance based on the appearance and features, and I'm happy I did. Pluses: Really feels sturdy and well built. If you're not dealing with TOTAL newbie players, the cabinet is wide enough to prevent wall damage even without doors. Has an Out Of Bounds ring around the outside that catches a miss. This is more helpful than you'd think when playing 301/701 and shooting for the outer ring. The mount is REALLY nice. It's pre-drilled at 16" and has a beveled edge that the cabinet just drops down onto. This was way easier than mounting my old cabinet. The little screen up top with the animations is a very nice touch. It really makes this feel like a bar quality commercial unit. Has a built-in switchable light. I can hardly emphasize how great this is. I was shopping for a separate LED light like I had with my old board before realizing how perfect the one built into this is. Its a soft light and casts the perfect amount of light on the board in a dark room. Minuses: The included darts are junk. This is really no surprise, but the quality of the board is good enough to expect decent darts. The audio call outs are a little funky... They had a British sounding announcer which is pretty fantastic, but some of the callouts sound clipped. To help it make sense, when the announcer says a number like Eight, it sounds like they had it say Eighteen and just clipped it in half instead of creating a separate sample. This sounds like a minor gripe, but you hear this 20 times per game so it's the most noticeable flaw. Overall, this a very solid entry as a home dart board with a commercial feel. It's a good ping pong paddle for intermediate players. I used the Stiga Evolution for 8 years prior to buying this paddle. This paddle provides more speed and good control. I only played with it for a few hours, but the Evolution has more spin and more "feel" when hitting the ball. It all depends on your style of play and skill level, and preference. Wall damage around a dartboard rarely comes from the wild throws. It comes from the ones that clip the wire and skate off the edge of the board. This surround takes care of exactly those, adding five inches of foam on every side of the face so the outer segments have a landing zone behind them. It slips over a mounted board and stays put. One thing to check first: it is cut for a regulation 17.75 inch dartboard and will not fit an 18 inch face.

Missed throws land in foam instead of your plaster. This octagonal surround rings the dartboard with a full inch of dense foam, and it is light enough to hang on a finished wall without extra support behind it. Cork lines both faces, so once one side has taken a season of hard throws you can flip the whole thing over and carry on with a clean surface. It comes back off just as easily when you move the board. Neither a board nor a set of darts is included here.

First of all, this is a GREAT foosball table!! It is super sturdy, and the only reason I gave it 4 stars is because of the shipping issues. Not the fault of Wayfair, but I didnt appreciate being told Id need to contact the Atomic company myself to address the brokendamaged parts. Its not my fault the package was damaged, causing damage to the product. Wayfair generally takes care of the issue when theres a shipping problem.
