Great quality and love the simple design. I didn't use this on a door that was made for a dummy handle, it was a working handle before. So the bolts didn't work with the hole that was already made in the door but I figured out a way to use a backer to hold it on. It won't be visible from the back so it works.. Susan. IN. I brought them in and pulled them out of the box and was very surprised and pleased at the weight and quality of these brackets. We had spent a lot of money on a large under mount hand hammered copper metal sink and i was concerned about the weight of the sink being carried by just the cabinet. i found these online and took a shot at them. very stout piece of metal and nice construction. I have used the knife for a few months now and love it! Very different style to my Wusthof Classic's, that I absolutely love and have had for over 15 years and my 35 year old Henckels 8" chef knife, but this is a great addition to my collection. We have two that no longer work and will have to contact Schlage for repair/replacement.
