This faucet is for a new single smallish size sink in a small utility room. The sink is replacing a huge and awkward laundry sink. I have a pull out single handle faucet in the kitchen and love the way it handles. I was glad to find such a faucet at reasonable price for an area that is dominated by a large air conditioning unit. Only gave this four stars because I don't know if it will hold up as well as a more high end one. Also I am not a fan of shiny chrome, but did not want to spend more money for a better finish.. For the price this is decent. Husband built it though and he’s very handy. Build took about 4 hours for him which is lengthy. The finish is questionable and the slides on the top portion catch and can be tricky. Again though for the sale price of I believe $139 at time of purchase it’s serviceable. Fairly heavy when assembled and does hold a lot. Fits an instant pot on the shelf with the plug but I wouldn’t recommend actually using appliances on this, only storing. My wife and I were wanting to update our kitchen with a new sink. What we wanted was a 50/50 bisque drop-in. We shopped at some of the building supply stores in are area, but they only carried black, white or stainless steel. We found just what we were looking for on Wayfair. EXACTLY what I was looking for to replace my existing stainless steel sink. I could have purchased via big box but the concrete color was special order. Decided I’ve had great experience with Wayfair if any problems that’s I’d purchase through them. They actually offered a complete setup for only a few dollars more with strainers, sink grids, and polish for the sink upkeep. Well, it installed as simple as can be. I had recently replaced the original stainless with a deeper bowl one but didn’t like the 5050 bowl design or the divider being flush to the top (allowed for drippage). Love the material. Didn’t think I’d opt for the grids, but they worked great too. I purchased a Kohler strainer though vs using the Karran provided ones (they were stainless colored but plastic base). This was because my wife wanted very special strainer for dish side that would completely seal the drain . Not sure the drain assembly was worth the additional 60, but wife is never wrong. All said and done, super happy. The clips to secure worked great. The design is stellar. I didn’t detect any cracks or design flaws. The sink itself is nice and sturdy without being obnoxiously heavy (looking at you cast iron!!!). The only thing I found was that I used silicone sealant vs. plumbers putty to keep from any potential discoloring of the composite (they do make a special plumbers putty but I’m happy with silicone and it seems to be a standard use for these). One last thing- even though I had no intention to use the grids (per my wife), we both agree they look nice and appear to be functional addition to the basin (allowing it to drain as well as for food to fall through). Time will tell but great investment to get ones designed for the sink (they fit great). Another great transaction with Wayfair. The value of working with a company that has stood behind the products they sell is second to none. I could have saved a couple dollars purchasing somewhere else but loyalty is a two way street and it won out for both Wayfair and myself. So happy with the result. No regrets!!!. Dave. I chose a quartz sink to replace a stainless steel one that I could not prevent making pot marks in or remove them from the stainless. The quartz sink looks beautiful.
