I love the unit for it's storage space and good working counter. However, the stainless part is not "stainless." It scratches and stains easily. I had been looking for months for the right upgrade, and this was it. First off, the installation process was an absolute breeze. Truthfully, it took me three times longer to remove my stubborn old faucet than it did to install this brand-new one. The standout feature is definitely the motion sensor functionality. Being able to simply wave your hand in front of it to turn the water on and off is incredibly convenient, especially when your hands are full or messy from cooking. On top of that, the real-time digital readout of the water temperature is an amazing touch that takes the guesswork out of finding the perfect temperature. The water flow and pressure are excellent. The spray head features three distinct settings that handle different tasks perfectly: a solid stream for filling pots, a multi-stream setting for rinsing dishes, and a high-pressure sprayer mode that makes quick work of stubborn food residue. (Note: If you notice the empty hole in the granite countertop next to the base in the photos, please ignore it—that is just where my old, separate sprayer used to sit. This new unit operates entirely on its own and does not include a separate sprayer, as I simply haven't filled that extra spot with a soap dispenser yet). Very satisfied with this rolling bamboo kitchen island. I am extremely particular about my purchases and chose this one based on the real wood construction and the exact dimensions I needed to fit flush in height and width at the end of my kitchen island in my new condo and it was one of the only islands I could find in the correct size that had all the drawers I was wanting. It is constructed of solid bamboo for majority with MDF shelves and extra parts. The stainless steel top is in perfect condition and the whole unit was packed extremely well. It took 3-4 hours for my handy husband to assemble the many pieces by himself. Instructions were very clear and all parts and hardware were present with quite a few extra pieces leftover. The hinges on the doors take some fiddling with to get doors aligned correctly. We used an allen wrench with a handle grip that came with another product and a ratchet screwdriver to make assembly easier. The drawers open and close smoothly. We left the spice rack/knife block off because of space constraints. There are small predrilled holes where that unit attached but I'll cover those with some small plastic plugs and will be hardly noticeable. The wheels roll smoothly. This is a well designed island and is constructed in a durable way. We just assembled a couple days ago so only time will tell how it holds up but I feel positive that it will be an excellent piece for storage and extra counter space and should last a good long while.. I received my faucet within a few days, after ordering it, as all of my orders are received quickly. It has ben a challenge to find an available plumber for my installation. The faucet seems very well built, but the sprayer feels less sturdy. Time will tell how well it withstands, once the plumber comes in a couple of weeks.
