The assemble took about three hours. The instructions were provided with all the necessary equipment to assemble the kitchen island. The instructions were very simple to understand. It took about three hours but the instructions also says two people are required to assemble. But I assemble the kitchen island by myself, which it took a little longer. This antique black is perfect and the counter top matches the color of our dining room table and some colors in our counter. It took about 1 hour to put together by myself.
