There are many pros about this range hood. First, it’s heavy duty - far heavier and sturdier than my previous one. Second, it’s all metal, even the filters, and includes a grease trap, which is a big bonus feature. The fan levels are great and it’s much quieter than our previous hood but definitely powerful. So far we are loving this upgrade. We did not use the vent hose it came with but bought an all metal one at our local home store for better greasefire protection. I will say the directions are somewhat lacking, however, if the person installing it knows what they’re doing, it shouldn’t be a problem. Very happy with this purchase. Arrived protected by foam inserts totally around the ends. Very heavy Duty type of unit. Has duel blowers that have a 10 year warranty. And have 4 speed settings. Which you can operate by either touch, remote or by waving your head across the front of the unit. I do recommend having two people to lift and install it. It comes already set up for a round duct through the top. But they give you plates to change it over to 4" X 10" like I had to do. Very simple process. It comes with a plug attached if you already have an out in the cabinet over it. Or you can hard wire it . Which is what I chose to do. Overall it's a very nice unit and I am happy with it.
