Altogether, this is not a bad piece. I did put the feet on backwards and will have to remove those. Did not notice until I added it together. I took a star because two pieces were damaged. Thankfully, they did not affect the overall aesthetic, but who wants damage furniture. I’m not sure how long the peace will last because it does not seem as sturdy as I would like. The reason for 4 stars and not 5, is that the unit arrived damaged. Maybe I shouldn't blame Wayfair, because it was shipped to Hawaii using multiple carriers. So it traveled on an assortment of vehicles, handled many times, and I believe it originated on the East Coast. Wayfair provided excellent communication to keep us updated on the shipment's movement and the date of delivery during its long journey. Wayfair was also quick to provide a resolution for the damage, with 4 possibilities. We chose to have the repair made locally, and we were compensated very fairly for that expense. As seen in the photos, the left door strut repair is flawless. The unit itself is beautifully designed, well built with all solid wood, and shows the finish of craftsmanship. The only assembly was to install the four legs. We're very satisfied with Wayfair for their customer service, resolution of the problem, and this unit is a lovely addition to our home.. Michael.
