I really love the fabric, it looks “shiny” (not gaudy) but isn’t leather or faux leather or any type of material I’d need to worry about cracking or conditioning. I ordered large throw cushions to give it more height and provide extra cushioning for anyone who may need it when they’re sitting. Lost one star because once assembled, it’s very light. I may have to add sandbags in to the base so it doesn’t move around when folks sit, rise, or bump it in passing. It’s also a darker brown than it appears in the picture. It’s almost a chocolate bar brown, with a subtle “cloud” effect to make it seem like weathered leather or something. Keeping it, overall I like it. But it will need some styling or something to really elevate it to something I’m totally happy with. Note color difference is due to natural morning daylight vs shade.
