I purchased two of these to use as elevated feeding stations for my cats because temporary mobility restrictions make repeated bending difficult. They are very substantial, sturdy, and much larger and more furniture-like than typical pet stairs. The walnut finish looks premium, and the wide top provides plenty of room for food bowls and mats. One of my cats immediately climbed the steps, used the built-in scratcher, ate his dinner on top, and then casually walked across the back of the couch.
