Exactly as expected. This chair was easy to assemble, the pieces were simple and the instructions were straightforward. The assembly seems sturdy and holds my 175lb son with ease. I bought it for his desk in his room so a pad for under the chair will probably be beneficial but it glides nicely on our hardwood floors. Throw out your old fold up plastic party tables! I can see why these tables would be ideal for an office but they are also awesome space saving heavy duty tables for a party! I have mine in my garage currently for a drink station but also used as an extra table for the holidays! This conference table is the logical way to buy and set up your training - meeting - seminar - conference room and the numerous combinations serve the typical needs of a meeting group. The legs have a safety locking mechanism when unfolded and can only be released by a secure unlocking lever at the top of the leg assembly. There are adjustable glides on each set of legs, allowing slight adjustment for uneven floors. This table has a 1.25" thick high-pressure laminate top that's durable and easy to clean. The top has an attractive black T-mold edge that won't crack or peel. The solid cast iron X-base has leveling glides to prevent the table from wobbling on uneven floors. The steel has a 3" diameter and is made of 16-gauge steel. The top and base are all shipped in one box. Easy to assemble.
