For these two new ones, I've converted them into self-watering planters using sturdy 22 inch saucers and 1/2 inch solid-braid nylon rope for wicking the water up into the soil. I have tried expensive clay and ceramic pots which are heavy and difficult to maneuver. I have also watched those planters suffer with the extremes of hot and cold in out climate. This is the solution! It looks remarkably like stone, yet is light; it looks weathered, but will withstand our weather. It is so fine I am actually using this indoors.
