kit# 2 luxury shower surrounds for the DIY enthusiast in pre-cut kits for common shower wall sizes. These panels are lightweight, easy to carry, cut, and fabricate. Cutting can be done with a skill saw, angle grinder, jigsaw, etc. To fabricate you can use a Dremel tool, miter, etc. We suggest using Loctite power grab ultimate adhesive or boss 125 adhesive to adhere panels to the walls but compatibility to the other substrates might need testing. We suggest using 100% clear silicone to glue the trim to the panels. We suggest applying the adhesive to the panel, applying circle blobs of caulking about 6”-8” apart throughout the sheet. We also suggest applying 100% silicone, about a ¼” continuous bead around the panel outside edges to ensure a good edge seal and prevent moisture or debris from getting behind the panel.

This double sliding shower door features a frameless design that glides smoothly in either direction. Its adjustable width (44"-48") fits various spaces, while a high waterproof track and seal strips effectively keep water inside the enclosure. The glass is surprisingly thick and beautiful. The handles and tracks are sturdy and thick enough. It came unbroken (better than the toilet I ordered last month!) and the pieces are all here. I'm debating whether to tackle this myself or hire a handyman. But it looks beautiful and I'm afraid any issues will be my own installation mistakes from here on. Just put it up. Did it almost all myself,and as a first timer. Just needed my 13 year old to screw the wheels into the 2nd door while I held it up. Instructions suck of course, but I watched a couple videos by people putting in similar ones. Made a few minor mistakes along the way, but all were fixable. Ended up looking great, and fitting PERFECTLY. Just had to measure 5 times and cut... twice in some cases. But always started conservative. You DEFINITELY need a power cutting tool, not a hacksaw, on the top bar. I bought steel cutting discs for my grinder and even that took 3 batter charges. I tried a hacksaw for a few minutes and it hardly made a notch in it. That would take all week. Here's a tip...if any risk of missing the wood studs, add more wood in the wall before tiling. Very excited to see the full remodel. This tub was exactly what I wanted amd fits perfectly. I like the deep water level and the little seat.. this is the update on my review. The tub originally came damaged from the manufacturer...twice. 3rd times the charm. Wayfair has more than impressed me with my remodel. I will use them again for the next bath remodel.
