The quality is unmatched to anything that I currently have in my house. It is very thick and comfortable and feels incredible to walk on. Can’t wait to get the rest of the bedroom put together as this will be one of the main focal points. It’s not cheap, but it’s also not cheaply made. The only issue is that we have cats and theyve used the rug as a scratching post so now some areas show where the hand-tufting has come it. I’m revising my original review of 4 because after 6 months this rug is falling apart. There were lots of stray strands of wool which I was fine with but once a hole appeared I requested a refund. It’s unfortunate because the rug is beautiful. The wool is very soft and seemed durable but that was certainly not the case. Perigold was amazing. They refunded me immediately.
