Upon receipt of this item, I was disappointed, thee was no box, packaging or instructions.it just arrived in a clear ziploc in a mail bag…no paper with details of ANY KIND. The setup of it was quite confusing because it’s described as “retractable” ….however, that is NOT what it is…it is EXTENDABLE. I was intending to return it but I think I will keep it ..I won’t use it for daily walks as I intended…due to inability to retract..but am thinking I will use it occasionally (at fairs or when carrying things, need to be hands from while I have the boys (my two dogs with me)…I gave it four stars due to its convenience during occasional use and it’s sturdy construction.. Our fence was lined with rocks and stones in an attempt to keep her in but she still dug around them UNTIL...my husband found this!!!! I hammered them in to all of the areas she was wedging through and she has not gotten out of our yard since! Simply amazing! I would definitely recommend it. We had a lot of barriers left over, but will be using them on other yards where she spends time, like my in-laws yard.
