It arrived in a box that wasn't too heavy. It was neatly folded and included the tie-down hooks. The material is a type of plastic fabric—it looks like sturdy cloth on the outside and plastic on the inside. It appears to be more durable than other types of tarps; even so, the weather in my city is very changeable, so time will tell if it truly holds up better than other tarp materials. This is a lot bigger than I expected. Although I would suggest having 2 people put this up, I was able to (with only a few minor mishaps with the directions of the door) do this on my own. P.s. dont attempt to put it up whenever theres a breeze. I may have tried it once. I dont suggest it. The outer layer is a very sturdy plastic, but you still need to be careful with the initial setup. After all, it is still plastic and can rip. This greenhouse is very nice. It is pretty quick to assemble but I recommend having three to four people available to get it done because some things are difficult to maneuver with just two.
