so far it is keeping cold. the freezer space is cut down with the extra ice maker,if i leave it off and use the extra room, i am in fear that the ice may not start working again. i really like it,but it might not start working if it is left off to long. so i have been informed by LG. I love Zline products, affordable luxury! But this fridge is very tall and very shallow. It still works great, but I wish it wash deeper so it could hold more items, and I have to use a stool to reach the top shelf. I love this fridge. It looks sleek and the middle drawer is super convenient. We use it for drinks not as vegetable drawer. The fridge is smaller but works fine for 2 people.
