Dracaena janet craig plants, native to tropical Africa, are one of the most popular plants used in homes and offices. Dracaenas thrive on neglect, grow well in low light, and need very little water. These attractive plants have sword- shaped, leathery, dark green, shiny leaves that are about 3 wide and 2ft. in length. When purchased, dracaena plants should have at least 3-5 stalks in the pot; this ensures that the plant will be full as it matures. A dracaena janet craig can be used as a table plant, a floor plant, or a tall, stately tree. This is a strongly upright plant that tends to drop its lower leaves as it ages. The stately 'Janet Craig' plant has huge, sword-shaped, dark-green leaves, can be used as a table plant or floor plant and looks elegant with virtually any type of home decor. Keep your plant out of direct sunlight, as this can scorch its leaves, leaving brown marks. It prefers medium indirect sunlight, but it can tolerate low light as well. Pale leaves and slow growth indicate that it's not getting enough light.

The Pencil Cactus (Euphorbia tirucalli) also commonly called milk bush due to its thick, white sap is native to semi-arid tropical regions of Africa and India. In the wild, the Pencil Cactus can grow up to 30 feet tall and well over 6 feet indoors. This stem succulent is not a true cactus and photosynthesizes in its stems, not through the small leaves that appear at the end of its new growth (which are inconsequential to the plants health). The plants have slender, slightly toothed stems without any foliage growth. The name derives from the branches, which are about the diameter of a pencil. When new branches sprout, the end of the branch can be tinted slightly pink and tiny leaves may appear. These leaves will disappear once the branch matures. The pencil cactus needs high levels of light and moderately low moisture. It is an excellent houseplant and provides an interesting silhouette.

This pencil cactus arrived very stressed out with a lot of weird yellow growth and Sapir dehydrated it is alive, but I’m going to have to repot it immediately and the potting soil is like cement so yes I got a life planned, but it’s going to have to go into hospice for a while. Dracaena Lisa is a very widely used indoor floor plant. Its dark green leaves and stems are its defining characteristics. Unlike the very similar Janet Craig, Lisa has much thicker stalks that can be solid green or blended green and tan. Lisa's foliage (in comparison to JC's) is more narrow, compact, shorter in length, and stands more upright. Lisa is very easy to keep healthy, and is highly tolerant to many indoor lighting conditions, including lower light. Like most Dracaenas, it is slow growing, so it can maintain its size and shape for some time without much maintenance. It can tolerate low light (not no light) conditions much better than other interior Dracaena varieties like Mass Cane, Compacta, Marginata, Warnekii, and Rikki. Lisa can also tolerate low light much better than most other houseplants. If placed in a low light area, much care must be taken when watering. Over-watering can happen very easily in low light since a plant's productivity slows as its light decreases. Since Lisa operates on the slow side anyway, the plant can become nearly dormant in low light. Moisture soil or lava moisture should be carefully checked before watering. It can survive well in high light but has the tendency to lose its deep green color. High light conditions will increase the amount of water it will need and can also increase growth and the development of mealy bug.

Long-lived and low maintenance, Dieffenbachia makes for a thoughtful housewarming present, thank you gift, or just to show someone you’re thinking about them. Raspberries are a shrub belonging to the Rosaceae family, in the genus Rubus. Not only are raspberries perfect for picking and eating straight off the stem, but theyre also wonderful in jams, pies and tarts, or smoothies and drinks. Plus, fresh raspberries are an excellent source of vitamin-C. Raspberries grow best in a sunny location, but unlike many fruits, will also grow successfully in a partially-shaded spot. However: the more sun, the more fruit! The planting site should have rich and well-drained soil, great air circulation, and shelter from wind. Avoid a wet area, as well as a windy spot, as raspberries do not like to stand in water nor totally dry out. Water one inch per week from spring until after harvest. Regular watering is better than infrequent deep soaking. Keep your raspberry bushes tidy by digging up any suckers or canes that grow well away from the rows; if you dont dig them up, theyll draw nutrients away and youll have less berries next year.

As native North American fruiting shrubs that can typically be harvested from June to August, blackberries are primed to grow in your yard with little extra maintenance. All you need to grow summer blackberries for your pies, jams, and smoothies is a spot with full sun and a good supply of soil amendments such as compost or leaf mold. As members of the Rosaceae family, the cultivation of blackberries resembles that of rose bushes. Fortunately, blackberries are closer to wild roses in their ease of care than they are to a hybrid tea rose. Blackberries require plenty of moisture, especially when growing and ripening. Ensure plants receive one inch of water per week and more in hot temperatures. Pick only berries that are fully black. Mature berries are plump yet firm, a deep black color, and pull freely from the plant without a yank. Berries do no ripen after being picked. Select a site that receives full sun for the best berry yields.
