I bought this for my balcony and just now assembled. The wood is nice quality from what I can tell, but more importantly, this thing is very well designed for a flatpack bench/sofa. The cushions are incredibly comfortable, too! It's nice and wide, it feels so good to lie down on. The description recommends treating and sealing the wood, by the way. Before I put the cushions on, I mixed a mixture of 1:1.5 beeswax and mineral oil, and with gloves on, painted this onto every surface of the wood. I went in with a hairdryer after and melted this wax into the pores of the wood, wiping with a rag as I went to soak up excess. I finished with a good rub of mineral oil on top and wiped all excess. The instructions are easy to follow, and all tools and parts are included. The chair has a deeper and lower seat, which makes it especially comfortable to curl up in. The weather isn't great here right now so I set it up inside temporarily, and it actually looks nice enough to use indoors. The wood and fabric seem pretty durable, although I'd still be cautious with the light fabric. We waited a long time for these to arrive and continually had updates on the arrival date changes. I understood, as I know that there are shipping delays, but if I had needed these on time I would have been very disappointed with how long they took. Almost 4 months late. They were missing the hardware to fasten them together. When I called to request the fasteners they gave me a credit which I appreciated and I would say was excellent service. Overall I love the couches (ordered two of them at same time) and searched for over a year for the exact style and type that I was looking for. The sunbrella fabric is great and you just wash them off with the hose and everything comes right off. We had some rain unexpectedly and didn’t have them covered, and all was good. They dried fast and we were able to sit on them the next day. They are heavy and well made and the teak is nice.
