The cabinets in the new kitchen are quite tall, so a new step stool was needed. There is a narrow space that's perfect for storing the stool. The listing on Wayfair showed the dimensions of the stool while open, but not when folded for storage. I took a chance and ordered it, and while I am very happy with the sturdy, easy to use stool, it does not fit in the storage space.
