Jordan Thurston is a native of Garden City, NY where he began his lifelong love of the creative arts in afterschool programs. Mostly self-taught, he continued drawing and painting throughout his formative years at New York University where he studied applied mathematics. Inspired by the complexity of the world in its simplex forms, he draws on the shapes and forms found in nature for inspiration. This Waykar 80 & 120 Dehumidifier is great. I ordered it on Thursday (a little less pricewise than my local stores), got it Saturday (free shipping BTW), I literally plugged it in, pressed the power button and it started working right away. It set itself to the room temp/humidity. I've already emptied it twice in less than 24 hours and I can tell the difference already (I have a finished basement with industrial type carpeting). I didn't need the hose option but it was included. I don't mind having to empty it into my laundry room sink or save it to water flowers (the water tank isn't heavy). It's also very quiet.
