We replaced an older unit with the new Waykar 120 pint dehumidifer. This unit is smaller and lighter than the model it replaced while still removing moisture at a higher rate. It's also a lot quieter than our older unit. Very easy to understand and operate the control panel. Had it set up in less than 5 minutes. Initial 2 hour run at low speed dropped the humidity in our basement from 65% to 54%. Have it set up to gravity drain into a sump, so we don't need to worry about emptying the bucket. This valve seems to be a serious one but can’t comment yet on full functionality since the remodel is still going on. The installer had no issues in plugging everything in, i have used it with copper lines, the stops are really useful to test everything and the preliminary tests were working all good. Mostly self-taught, he continued drawing and painting throughout his formative years at New York University where he studied applied mathematics. I have had my dehumidifier now for over a week. It is very quiet and so far has removed a good amount of water everyday.
