Inspired by 40s and 50s Danish design, Swell features a loping pedestal wrapped in a whitewashed Danish cord. Our spin on the classic Chesterfield. We took the original profile—clubby comfort, tailored tufting—and made it modern with a pared-down silhouette. A hardworking wire-brushed and lightly limed solid oak tabletop with a radial pattern on a bamboo-inspired, brass-banded base that splits to accommodate a two-leaf expansion. Chic and timeless. Wire-brushing exposes the natural wood grain and our liming technique accentuates each solid piece of wood's unique pattern. Inspired by the work of the French Modernists, this cabinet is constructed of American walnut with a transparent lacquer finish. Hardware is cast in the Jonathan Charles foundry where it is acid-dipped and hand-rubbed to achieve a rich, natural patina. Hardware displays authentic duck eggshell inlay.
