Found the perfect installation product! I was looking to make an old fixture smart automated and this SkyPlug canopy kit allowed me do just that. I'm really enjoying this so far. I've got it working with SmartThings which means it's working (okay) with Google Home. All five of my RF fans work with this device. I would say signal is sent to those devices correctly 95% of the time. I have found that if I accidentally misclick, it is better if I count to 10 before making the correct choice. Is it perfect? No. But it is extremely helpful. These are things I was ready for, but some other buyers might not be ready for. This is an RF controlling device. While it makes some devices a little easier to use it does not make those devices "smart". If you have someone who likes to use the remotes a lot, the app will show incorrect settings for those devices that have changed with the remote. This does not bug me, but for someone who is not ready for that, make sure you understand what this device is first. I highly recommend Bond. This is an affordable way to use what you already have. Less devices in the landfill for replacements, and a pretty great way to control my devices from my phone. This beam is constructed out of ¾” thick Aspen wood and is 6 1/2" tall. You choose the length and depth. Each piece of wood is unique and will have more or less character/knots than the other. It is designed to look like a solid beam without weight. The distressed beams are painted either black or white and have the edges sanded over and a brown stain/wax applied for a distressed look. The distressed beams will not be a solid color. Easy to install utilizing a French cleat mounting bracket which is included. Screws are not included. This light is easy to install and gives off great light. The light base is larger than a standard ceiling outlet box to cover any imperfections in the sheetrock. You can put it over the fireplace to illuminate an artwork or shine light on a statue in the corner of the room. You can also use it to light up a small pantry, a kitchen island, or a laundry room. Some people even use it as a carriage light on the porch or put it on a covered patio. It looks so great at night with a nice, crisp light that is so clean and bright.
