A handy remote comes with this lamp, so it's easy to adjust the color temperature and brightness. There's also a foot switch for when your hands are full.

This is a nice lamp of good quality. It's perfect for what I needed - to light up a dark corner without taking up much space. The base is 9" and weighted for stability, and the shade is just 4" square, so it fits perfectly where I needed it. The remote control is nice and gives more options than I'll ever need.
