This is a stunning, substantial piece for my townhome's office/den. I love the black iron bar that runs through it. Great material and color juxtaposition to the solid wood. The bar is both stylish and functional as a foot rest. No ottoman needed! One caution - the walnut is much more light cherry-ish than medium brownish walnut wood, so it hardly looks like the product photo, but thankfully it still comes across as modern, as I didn't want a traditional-looking desk. Love that you can see the wood knots and veining. Gives it the authentic wood look that solid wood deserves.. Nicolette. University Heights, OH. Thu Feb 12 2026

This metal wood industrial desk unfortunately had 2 broken pieces as we opened the box. I still gave it 4 stars because this could have happened during shipping but I do think they could have included more wrap styrofoam around it. I will say this is a VERY heavy desk.
