We bought the Crown 310 over a year ago. It is the natural gas connected version from Broil King. Both my wife and I are retired and so most of my grilling is for just the 2 of us and the size of the bbq is about right. I grill probably 2 or 3 times a month all year depending upon occasions and dinner preferences. For personal use it is great. I have made some adjustments to the 310. I have filled in the hole/well in the bottom of the cabinet (propane tank) and have added a bar under the shelf for hanging bbq tools. I didn't buy one when I purchased my Regal Pellet, and I regretted it for a few weeks until I finally bit the bullet and went back. Thick enough to hold some great heat--but not so thick that it's unwieldy. I sometimes drop it in place--as the Exact Fit suggests--and sometimes just lay it on top of my cast iron grates. It comes pre-seasoned, and I found the pre-seasoning acceptable. The key to long, reliable performance is the same for all cast iron. I clean mine while it is still warm, and I dry it on my gas range before taking it out to store inside my Regal. Avid griller and used to taking care of a grill. I love the Broil King grills and this is my second one. I ordered Cast Iron Grates for this one due to better searing qualities, but have been sadly disappointed, I season them about every 4-6 months and they are still rusting away.
