Contractor determined mother board was bad. Manufacturer Summit warranty begins at date of purchase; mine was installed 10 months later; of course, October 2020 is WAYYY outside warranty, and Summit will not address or repair, even if I return it to them. I understand, but this is lousy customer service. I will pursue, but if you don't install immediately upon purchase, beware. Very disappointed. I needed an additional option for cooking meals while my kitchen is being remodeled. I decided to try the induction cooker after testing the features I have used it for boiling water, frying breakfast foods, sautéing veggies and frying various meats. The nine power levels and ten temperature controls makes it easy to ensure consistency in preparing my meals. I like the warming feature which keeps food at an even temperature when seconds are desired during meal times. The digital timer is easy to navigate.
