Great out of the box! It wasn’t too complicated, which I was worried about, and the app is very easy to use to designate different areas and tell the vacuum where not to go. Easily ran the first vacuum and mop, and the floors were immediately much cleaner. Works so good! Finally, a mop that washes itself as it cleans. My hardwood floors are not just water pushed around with a dirty mop, it rotates the brushes and rinses the mop. I am confused on how the vacuum works, but it does work well. So far so good. The map learning is easier than my former robot vacuums and mops. So smart! I may need to get a second just for my bottom floor and let them live in two places, caring for each floor while I sit at home and work remotely. Its size is just right. This little robot gets in and around my dining room table and chairs, which is an area that my other robot vacuum couldn't do without having to remove the chairs. The roller-style mopping system does a much better job cleaning my floors then the vibration mop on my other robot. As for the vacuum system, I have five dogs, and the hair is a problem, but this vacuum system seems to be handling it just fine, whereas my older robot had difficulty with clogs and hair winding up in the rollers. I’ve been using it for about a year, and it has never left me wishing for more. * the pads which come with the unit wash up very well in the washing machine. * the water tank is small, but I am able to clean approximately 800 square feet without needing to refill with water. * I use filtered water from my fridge with no problems. * the steamer works very well.
