The directions are awful, there's a youtube video that shows a guy setting up a similar gate, his is French door style but the set up is very similar so it was helpful because we were totally lost trying to figure it out. Anyway its perfect for our needs. We needed to keeo 3 if our cats separate from one cat. They can slip through sometimes by messing with the side pole to move it over just enough to slip through but still this is a good enough solution for us. This is exactly what I was looking for as a temporary coop for our ducks. It went together quickly and is extremely sturdy. The only improvement I would make is for the cover to be waterproof. The wood is strong enough for indoor but I don’t think it would last long outside in the elements. I didn’t use the roofing material that came with it since I have it inside the house.
