This thing is nearly perfect! We have three dogs that we kennel occasionally when we leave the house, and I was tired of looking at three wire kennels of different sizes spread throughout the house. I decided to splurge on this 95" furniture-style kennel console, and it's absolutely everything I wanted it to be! It's STURDY. The assembly instructions were easy to follow, and assembly wasn't nearly as daunting a task as I thought it was going to be. Ours did arrive with a pretty nasty scratch/scuff on one of the bottom boards (thanks to a pretty big gash in the box from shipping), but it's covered by a kennel pad/dog bed, so not visible and not worth fussing over. This is a beautiful crate. Perfect size for my 15 pound dog. It's obviously so much nicer than a traditional metal crate. I was initially concerned that the lock would be too weak to keep the door closed, but it's great! It's a very secure lock. The crate door slides up and under the drawer, which saves on space. This is a great car seat for my small 17 pound dog. The picture is a bit misleading with the golden retriever puppy as the cover image, but after reading reviews and taking some measurements in my car before I purchased, I'm glad I bought it. I read a review that someone used their seatbelt to secure it more in place along the back which I also did and recommend. I put the seatbelt through the two back bottom loops and extended the seatbelt until it had the safety locking activate to pull tightly in place. It's got great lift in my 2008 Prius so that my lil guy can still poke his head out the window safely and the safety strap holds him in place to hold him back from jumping into the front seat.
