The styrofoam piece should have reached from edge to edge and it didn't . This made the backsplash part a little wonky on the edges. We had to stabilize it before putting up the rest of the tile backsplash. Other than that I think it will be lovely.. Amy. Victoria, TX. Sat May 16 2026

What are andirons? Andirons, also known as firedogs, have been in use for centuries. Andirons are used in pairs. Logs are laid atop the supports for burning in a wood fireplace. The andirons keep wood off the fireplace floor, allowing for better burning and less smoke generation. Andirons can be used in place of a fire grate (or basket), or they can be placed along either side of the grate to provide decoration.

Make a grand statement by adding 1 of 2 trim kits to your installation that enlarge the finished look and highlight the flames (RBF30TRIM38 or RBF30TRIM44, sold separately). This is the 44 in. trim RBF30TRIM44 allows you to install the RBF30 firebox into a larger opening. Update your woodburning fireplace with the RBF30 firebox and the Dimplex RBF30TRIM44 trim kit.
