These are fantastic. Went from chickens tipping over their bowls and/or draining them within hours, to cleaning and refilling twice a week or so. Also helps A LOT for chickens who never figured out the nipple waterer system (we love them but they're not the brightest birds, even for chickens LOL). A bit of a learning curve to fill and get the red ring just right to keep the water from flowing out, but once everything is lined up properly, these things work perfectly!. Kerry. Cheshire, CT. This poultry waterer nipples is made with top-of-the-line PP plastic and steel materials and are assembled thoroughly to make sure the quality is the best and that the product will last for many seasons. Say goodbye to the hassle of constantly refilling and cleaning your chicken waterer. Our waterer encourages your chicks to peck at it, releasing fresh and clean water whenever they need it. The birds prefers this horizontal poultry nipples over the vertical type and watering cups as it provides more convenience in accessing and drinking the water from its container. The steel rod is easy enough to push that even 2 week old chickens can do it with less to no effort at all. This horizontal chicken waterer is designed to work like a water dispenser. It will release water only if the steel rod is triggered by the flocks and then shuts off whenever no bird is striking into it. All you need to do is refill the bucket/container whenever water is runs out. It is so easy and quick to setup this nipper drinker as all you need to do is drill a hole on your container and screw in the horizontal poultry nipples. The only thing you'll need for installing the watering nipples is a drill bit. The nipple assembly screws right into your container, so additional tools will NOT be necessary.

There were NO instructions, and they had to be wrapped with silicone plumbers tape to prevent leaking like crazy. They seem to work ok, but the chicks at 6 weeks old did not seem able to get water out.. Linda. Magnolia, DE. Mon Sep 09 2024
