WOW. WOW. WOW. This is even more beautiful than I expected. It received so many positive reviews for a reason. It is absolutely gorgeous and looks way more expensive than what Wayfair charged. I rent a smallish room in a large home so I didn't want to take up too much space with a bigger bed. Making my twin mattress into a couch / sofa was the right way to go. Besides the reasonable price, the quality of the product is off the charts. They generously give you three (3) shams instead of two (2) AND a really pretty throw pillow with goldish / light brownish embroidery on it (that includes the pillow). I can't recommend this set enough. (Note: I didn't include the enclosed bed skirt because again, I didn't want it to look like a bed but rather a couch. I highly recommend this purchase. Go for it!. Amazing bed, sturdy, looks expensive. The back makes a great resting/reading nook, also keeps warm in the winter if it is alongside an outside wall. It is very soft. We used a regular 8 in twin mattress for our teen. It is no cali prop 65, so no formaldehyde. When building we struggled to slide the 2 sides of the corner together, but that was the only problem. Previously I have only purchased rugs from Wayfair, which I have always loved. I had never purchased any furniture. I was looking for a daybed and found one that I liked, so I bought it. Being a female in my 70’s, I was worried about the assembly. I considered paying to have someone put it together but my son said he would do it, so I didn’t purchase that. My son got very busy when the daybed arrived so it was just sitting in the box. Then I decided to start to read the directions and before you know it, I had assembled the bed all by myself. We bought this daybed for our Airbnb and are very happy with it. As mentioned in other reviews, you need to buy a thicker mattress or else there is a gap between the mattress and headboard. I got the green daybed. The colors were true emerald which is lovely next to house plants. The bed feels sturdy but my only issue was the lack of a central support beam. So I just built one from some planks of wood. All in all, I am very pleased with this piece of furniture and I get to enjoy it as a couch and just sit on it getting some sunlight while reading.
