We’re extremely happy with the Touchstone Sideline Elite fireplace. The flame looks very realistic and bright, and being able to adjust the flame speed is a great feature. The flame and base color options are excellent and don’t look cheap at all. It’s definitely worth the extra cost compared to cheaper options—this looks and functions like a very high-end fireplace without having to spend thousands more. It added a beautiful, premium touch to our new media wall. It came with a log, driftwood and crystals. So, you can style it however you like. The only downside was the shipping speed. Delivery through Wayfair took about two weeks, which caused some inconvenience. Other than that, the fireplace itself is amazing. The only thing I would change is the placement of the power cord; I wish it were located on the bottom of the unit rather than the side. Also, while there appear to be three vents on the unit, the heat only comes from the center vent, but it's robust. I also chose to purchase the extended warranty for added peace of mind. Looks fine, has buttons on top if the unit (which makes you able to work the unit without the need of a remote). Has a noisy fan though. What is most bothering is that they claim the bulb has 22,000 lumens (not specified if ANSI or ISO), and when checked on the web, this model has only somewhere between 300-500. Nice symmetry when paired with a 65" TV. Easy install. We framed out a 2x6" wall in front of the existing 2x4" in living room wall. Ran a dedicated 20 amp circuit because all these wall fireplaces pull a lot of power when on high. Used a recessed outlet in 2x4" wall directly behind fireplace rough in. Love your product, but very sad to see in your new navigator series, that there is no P-setting, nor is there a smoke setting available for me to control my smoke intensity! Works good and looks nice but it would have helped if the remote control worked. There’s no way to dim the lights without the remote so it is very bright when the room is dark. Update… Contacted the manufacturer directly and they fixed the issue. They were very responsive and sent a free replacement remote control and panel. They guided me through the whole process of pairing the remote and followed through a few days later to see how everything was working. Now it is working 100 perfect!!
