Despite few reviews and never having made a Wayfair purchase this large, I bought 2 of these and the matching 3-seater sofa. Overall, I'm content with that purchase and my experience.
Pros: I'm really pleased with the quality of the material. It feels very durable and looks pretty high end. Assembly was quick and fairly easy. Really clean looking, lots of space, and very comfortable. The lever lets the recliner up, but to close it, you have to force it closed with your legs. I like this because it seems like less stress on the reclining mechanism (whereas other recliners sound awful when you use the lever to close them).
Cons: The armrests are tricky to get locked in. Some pieces had quality control issues - rust on the metal base/feet, some small tears, rough stitching and one spot completely missing stitching. Nothing so extreme or noticeable though, so I did keep them. The worst thing about this is that the three main pieces don't want to stay locked into one another; they keep popping out. It's tricky to line them up in the first place, then they just pop out of place when the recliner is moved up or down. I wish they made that connection easier or had a locking mechanism to keep it in place. It'll take separating the pieces and finagling with the feet height to hopefully help the alignment of the connections, but we got tired of messing with it.. Anonymous. Tue Aug 04 2026
