Bring easy, everyday style to any room with this checkerboard border rug, available in Chestnut Brown and Sand Beige. The design features a solid center in warm chestnut or soft sand tones, framed by a two-tone checkerboard edge that gives the space character without overwhelming it. Made from a soft 100% polyester pile, it feels plush underfoot while standing up to regular foot traffic, and the low profile lies flat and clears most doorways. A non-slip backing keeps it firmly in place on hardwood, tile, or laminate. Built for real life, this rug is machine washable and simple to spot clean, so spills, foot traffic, and pet messes are never a problem. Please note that it ships folded to keep packaging compact, and any creases visible on arrival are normal and will relax within a few days of use. Whether you are layering it in an entryway, anchoring a seating area, or adding warmth to your kitchen, entryway, or living room, it offers a practical way to refresh your space.

It feels nice and soft, and looks like it does in the product description. The nonslip backing definitely works. It takes a good while for the fold lines from shipping to come out, though washing it is almost certain to help. Easy to vacuum if you can turn the beater bar off on your vacuum. When new it seems to easily show tracks from shoe/foot prints. (Like from a blanket being rubbed in a certain direction.). Garret. Washington, Dc. Thu Oct 01 2026

Machine Washable Checkered rugs are easy to use and new style

Loving this rug so far. I bought it forgot the 2'7 x 10' runner for my kitchen because my floors are VERY hard. It’s pretty thin, but I think that’s to be expected with a washable rug and nothing a rug pad can’t fix. Definitely recommend; it was a great price and the color really warms up the space.. Amber. Our bold checkerboard rug adds a whimsical touch to the farmhouse look. This durable rug is woven from real jute and cotton fibers that are strong and flexible. Our versatile rug makes a statement in the living room, office, bedroom or entry.

Beautiful! Though I have yet to unpack all of the rugs, they seem to be well-made. It almost looks like patchwork… With each piece embroidered along the edges. I really had no idea of this until I got them. But they are beautiful! Delivery was great! I even spoke to the FedEx guy who was very kind, even though it was sweltering hot in western Iowa!… and did I mention that these rugs are, “beautiful“?. Rebecca. Gillett, WI. Tue Jul 28 2026

This rug is quite exceptional. It is super soft, and the rubber backing helps it stay in place. It is very low pile which I needed, and I thought I would have to compromise comfort and quality for this reason. But no! It is a beautiful color and pattern, looks quality and feels amazing on bare feet. And the price cannot be beat, especially for an 8x10. Highly recommend!. Andrea. Kirkland, WA. Sun Sep 20 2026

This area rug features a subtle checkerboard pattern in a soft brown and ivory palette, offering a sophisticated take on minimalism. Each square alternates between matte and slightly lustrous finishes, creating a gentle play of texture and light. The design exudes quiet elegance, making it an ideal foundation for contemporary, Scandinavian or neutral spaces. Made from a blend of materials including polyester & polypropylene, making it an ideal base for living spaces like the living room, bedroom or dining room, while also working in homes with little ones and furry friends running around. Expertly crafted in Turkey, this rug is stain resistant and easily cleaned with a standard household vacuum and mild carpet cleaning solution.

This is a very nice rug, but it looks very different than the photo. The descriptjon says brown, but the actual color is more of a taupe. Its much lighter than anticipated. The stitching on one of the corners is not finished which is not a big deal, but just something to note. Otherwise its pretty plush and will work for what I need it for.. Katie. Webster, NY. Cute rug! Perfect for what I wanted which is to go in front of the stairs so my dog doesn’t keep sliding when running down. It does slide without a rug mat underneath so keep that in my mind. The colors are nice and bright tho!. Brielle. Lilburn, GA. Sun Apr 27 2025
