The reason I gave it 4 stars is that it was a little firmer than I initially expected, so it may take some time to break in depending on your preference. Instructions said to have mattress with zipper side down, I didn't see any zipper. However, the back does have a silver surface so be sure to have that side on flat surface. I did not wait 72hrs but by the evening it was inflated enough for sleep. The edges are softer than center. When exiting you can feel more of the memory foam softness. This mattress works ok. I think it leans more to a firmer side than medium firm. Though it works good, I think, having more memory foam on the top part would make it feel a little more comfortable and would definitely help with firmness. I appreciate the support on edges because it really is holding well with weight and I don’t just fall when seated on the edge but I still think there are other medium firm mattress around that feels more comfortable.. My full‑size mattress arrived quickly through FedEx, and the packaging was very easy to handle. The mattress came compressed in a box, and I had no issues opening it. Once the plastic was removed, it started expanding right away. I waited the full 72 hours before sleeping on it. It reached almost its full size—about 11 inches instead of the stated 12 inches—but that’s acceptable for me. The mattress is comfortable overall, with a soft feel around the edges.
