Glad I found this UC-B018. I bought it over the other makers/name brands for my little studio because it was sturdy, came with both a top and rear venting option, and had a plug so the unit was ready to plug in w/o hiring an electrician. The light is amazing, as you can see in my brief video. Design of the whole unit is sleek. Given how great the first one was, I just ordered a second one for my larger home.. Suzannehummingbird. So perfect! We ordered this to replace a bulky microwave that was over the range. This was the perfect fit! My grandpa is handy and was able to cut an old extension cord to connect the wires from the hood vent and make it able to plug in for power. Otherwise this would have needed an electrician or someone savvy like him to get the light and fan working. It’s not an easy plug and play for power. But easy to remove an old microwave and screw this in! It opened up my kitchen and stove area so much.. Tara. Phoenix, AZ. Mon Jul 27 2020
