These are just what you'd expect them to be - sturdy no-rust metal to live in your door forever and engage the latch. They've conveniently included two in the package along with screws for both. I'll be using both together, because the door frame in my yurt shifts microscopically depending on the rain or heat on the deck it's sitting on, and the door pops open on it's own. This adapter is wonderful. If you’re thinking about getting it, just get it. It’s easy to put on. It’s a plate that goes under the main plate does not go facing down. It goes facing up.. the instructions is for about three different handles in the Delta family, however, the plate will be facing up, but you have to look at it very closely, it went on with a breeze.. This Fix-A-Latch, strike plate repair kit is constructed of stamped steel and white plastic components, and it comes in a beautiful finish. This kit can be used to easily repair a door that fails to latch when it is closed. The kit includes a strike plate for use with a 1-3/8 inch thick interior door, and another for a 1-3/4 thick exterior door.
