We love this vinyl carpet protector for our stairs. It looks very nice, is non-slip and confirms easily to the stairs and stays in place with a minimal number of staples. I had a very hard time finding vinyl stair protector runners. Others were dangerously slippery and did not stay on the stairs even with lots of staples and nails. The mat fits my computer desk area perfectly. However, it is not as transparent as I thought it would be. It's clear but has a frosted design to it.
