I am very satisfied with this purchase! The photo makes it looked scuffed on the edge but it is not damaged at all-just poor photography on my part. The mat came securely packaged and fully intact. I was supposed to used a hair dryer to warm it to make it more malleable, but I’m one of those who finds the instructions post-assembly… at any rate, the material is just as advertised and very sturdy. I ordered these chair mats recently and was a little surprised that they felt pretty cold when they arrived. If you’re ordering during the winter, I’d recommend letting them sit at room temperature for a while before unrolling them. Once they warmed up and I followed the instructions, they flattened out without any issues. So far they’ve been working really well. My chair glides smoothly on the carpet now, which is a big improvement from before. They also look nice and are easy to wipe clean, so maintenance has been simple.
