Rubber-Cal's Wide Rib Corrugated Rubber is a 3mm thick virgin rolled rubber mat and runner that is available in either a 36-inch or a 48-inch width that offers excellent traction with wider grooves and protrusions. The surface pattern (which is comprised of wide ridges and valleys) is more prone to trapping and cleaning debris and liquids from heavy foot traffic while maximizing the ease of cleaning and comfort. Wide Rib Corrugated Rubber is designed for light to medium foot traffic where traction and increased safety are needed and performs especially well in transient or temporary applications (e.g. wet aisle ways, catered parties, temporary walkways, etc...). The fabric base finish adds subsurface traction, keeping the runner's bottom surface secure to the floor. Since this product is made from virgin SBR it creates a completely watertight surface, offers moderate chemical resistance, and can be cleaned with most common household cleaners. Strong, highly caustic cleaning solutions (e.g. bleach) are not recommended. The lengthwise running corrugations inherently direct foot traffic as well as maintain a level of safety that is unmatchable by other runner products.

This rug is a great addition to our deck and fits perfectly underneath our conversation set. The gray color is an excellent match to our cushions, and it really helps define the seating area without being too busy. It also came with a storagetravel bag, which was a nice surprise. I don’t anticipate moving it often, but it will definitely come in handy if I decide to store it during the winter. When it arrived, it had several folds and wrinkles from being packaged and shipped, but that’s to be expected. I’m confident they’ll relax and flatten out over time with use. The only thing I’m curious to see is how it holds up to my cat’s claws if she decides to use it as a scratching post. Hopefully that won’t be an issue, but only time will tell. 2nd Update: Caution...Exceptionally slippery. Even my dogs back paws kick out in it. Mat is great for melting ice off gutter or deck or sidewalk. Then remove it after clearing way. UPDATE: My Mat was returned to me. Got it just in time to try it out as we await the start of 3 feet of snow & blizzard conditions. Plugged it in on my shoveled deck to see how it does. Really do not think it can hold up to 4 to 5 inch snowfall rates so will unplug it for now. So far so good. Only thing I did not realize is that it can't connext to other mats so the reason for 4 stars & not 5. Original: Cannot do a review because mat was delivered to wrong house.
