Bought this to mount a PC that I can pull up to a chair, I made some adaptations. I flipped the part for the PC tower to the front, connected the keyboard holder instead, and removed the upper one for the keyboard. Manufacturing or shipping defect leads to easily marred surface. First one had highly visible chipped off area exposing the wood composite underlay of the desk table top. Even second replacement top has noticeable scratch that we will live with. Table top is a very heavy piece! The replacement process has left us with the choice of a difficult disposal ourselves or another appointment for pick up of the defective piece. We really love the desk, especially the rollout keyboard tray. The issues when putting it together was when connecting the bottom base to the two side bars. The tolerances are so tight I had a problem placing the side bars into base. Also, the wrench to connect the wheels to the base was missing.
