This may be small but it is powerful. I absolutely love it. The design is sleek and the fact that it folds up for easy storage is what I wanted. The button on the panel are easy to read and there are button on the handles also. The control speed up and down and the other side does on and off. Love the height adjustability of the table the lowest setting works perfect for me sitting at my couch & the highest setting would work for someone over 6 ft tall. Goes up & down easily & tilts if you need that. I left off the ledge for tilt because I dont think I'll use it but kept it just in case. That part screws on easily with a couple black knots. I really was unsure of this when I ordered it. I hoped it would work but holding the weight of a slightly heavy laptop and doing so in a stable manner for long periods of time is potentially a big task. I was concerned about the bouncy potential and didn't want to have that be a problem. It works GREAT! Yes, there was a bouncy movement to it when you didn't touch anything but the keys, but I founnd the most comfortable position for me was with my elbows resting on chair arms and my pisiforms (outer palms near the wrist) just touching the keyboard on either side of the touchpad. When I lightly rested my hands there I could type without any appreciable bounce and what tiny bit I got actually aided typing quickly. The middle knuckle is adjustable for the weight of just about any laptop. I have an HP 17" and it doesn't seem to even know it's there as far as weight goes. I live on a boat and I have the arm mounted on a small table next to me next to my lazyboy recliner. No I don't think it would work very well long term with the chair in a reclined position but for a short time it would be much better than a computer on your belly or chest. When I put it together and tested it the first time the cords were an issue. Once I ran the cords through the cord holder I never even thought about them again. I liked it so much I got one for my wife and she loves it. To get up we just push it out awaqy from us and can get up with no interference from the computer. Once you get the position just right it stays at that angle perfectly and other than swinging it out and back I find I do no other adjustments. It took me a couple days of fooling with minor adjustments until I got it just right. When the boat rocks it doesn't move either, unless I want it to. Bought this to mount a PC that I can pull up to a chair, I made some adaptations. I flipped the part for the PC tower to the front, connected the keyboard holder instead, and removed the upper one for the keyboard. Because of disability, I cannot sit at a desk, I must sit in a suitable cushioned chair. I used to have the components on swing-out arms, on a table-top. Awkward. This is much better.
