The dryer is great. Im handy, so it was very easy to hook up. The delivery was a different story. We were given a delivery day of Tuesday, then it changed to Monday between 7 AM and 7 PM. My wife called at 930 Monday to narrow down the window, and was eventually told they didnt even have it at the delivery center. Then he checked and found it had just arrived, but it was too late to get it on a truck. Problem was, we took Monday off to receive it and hook it up. He said they could deliver Wednesday, between 7 AM and 11 AM, with a call 30 min. before delivery. They called at 6 AM, and delivered at 645 AM. But, we have the dryer, so all is good. The delivery crew from Glen Ellyn Moving and Storage were great, quick,efficient and polite. Working great. I really like the dust collector inside. I'm used to having a thin vent to pull out, but this is a compartment you pull out and open up. The dust is inside and easy to pull out. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our last dishwasher was also a Bosch, installed over 15 years ago. I was shocked (though I obviously shouldn't have been) to see that the water and electrical hookups had moved completely, making the install much more complicated for me. On the other hand, the newer leveling procedure is much nicer. Of course, we're still just getting used to it, but I fully expect this new Benchmark version to last at least as long as the old "800" model did, and be just as easy to live with. (Full disclosure, the old one would still be running fine if "someone" hadn't taken a tumble on the open door!) So far, my only quibble (and it's a large one) is that the Delay Start button has been moved to ONLY the app and is no longer on the control panel. At least let it be part of your Favorites settings! Our default has been to set a 2 hour delay when we start the dishwasher, but I doubt I'll be willing to use the app just to do that. I LOVE the new interior lighting!. Ericb. Fri May 01 2026

So for that I highly recommend. However, it does have a few frustrating "features". The racks are difficult to use for a number of reasons. In the two months I've been using my machine, I still don't know the best way to load it. The top rack is OK (not great) but the bottom rack is bad. You can't put anything in the front half of the rack between the tines because everytime you push the rack in the dishes fall towards the back. I love having the flex tray at the top but the handle design is terrible and it is always coming loose. And on all the racks the tines that you can lay down never want to stay in place. The control panel has bright LED lights but the icons aren't lit up, which means at night when you want to use the machine you can't see the buttons because you're blinded by bright white light bars. Lastly, I put the machine online, which was handy for setting up washing cycles, but the other day it mysteriously disconnected from my phone and now I can't get the machine back online again.. Matt. Great performing dryer, love the available features. Large capacity so I regular load drys fairly quick. I didn’t think I would use the Wi-Fi features on it but I decided to go ahead and set it up. I like the fact that it will send me a notification when the dryer has about five minutes left. It does have the steam feature, but I have not used it yet.
